If its sat with fluids in it since new the engine needs to be rebuilt .. their was the video a couple of years ago about one that had sat for a few years after a death ,the engine was in bad need of a complete rebuild .. the head gasket and lots of other gaskets had let go .. I wonder is that why its guided cheap .. I hope it was supplied dry of all fluids but what a waste of a gorgeous motorcycle

@Nelly had to rebuild one that had sat for years unused about 4 years ago - think it was well knackered if I remember correctly

The engine i watched being done had started to corrode on the gasket surface and the head gaskets were over a grand to buy .. id rather a nice low mileage summer Sunday morning breakfast bike any day

The videos stopped abruptly.. so i reckon the engine was toast ?

The one I did was coolant under the head gaskets, eroded the top of the crankcase gasket surface and then wrecked the plating in two of the cylinders. Needed a new set of cases.

If I was in the market for a Ferrari or Lambo...or a rare bike...I'd be going for one that had done a couple of thousand miles a year or more (maybe 500 for the bike).

It's not just the engine, it's all the pipes and tubes drying out that need replacing - they need fluids running through them regularly.

He mentioned on a post last week that he`d been desperate to try one of these on a trip to Italy . Something about it suiting his lifestyle perfectly IIRC.
