Thank you to Bev for organising a lovely afternoon, (YOU ARE NOW THE NORTH EAST CHRISTMAS NOSH ORGANIZER  ), good food and company with Tony, his wife and daughter Amy(get your bike test passed next year) , Ted and his wife, Scotty who got a medal for turning up on his bike, Steve finished his tunnel just in time as the starters were being dished out and nice to see Borderduc from north of the border or and a HONDArider who was put in the cells.
Yeah Cheers Bev, good to see you all. We three had a great afternoon.
Good meeting place for DUN NE. Now Bevs the official organiser, and if Santa :santawink: brings a Bev new puter :comp2: she can get some dates sorted in next years calendar
 Seasons Greetings and hope you all have a good one
Yes, I can only echo everyone by thanking Bev for taking the trouble to organise this Xmas get-together. 'Twas a reet good doo! (..those pink boots really needed a touch of tinsel, though Bev!)
Good to meet/chat with RockerTed and his wife - and maybe look forward to seeing his SS on a run some time in the spring?
I was late, and missed the introductions! :sorry: My fault. And the table was too looong to shout across, but hopefully I'll get to meet Tony's partner/daughter next time. (..and everyone else I didn't get the chance to talk to )
Apparently no-one told Scotty it was bl**dy freezing! Of course, I'd thought about using my bike myself, but decided against it. After all, I'm a southern softy . Those Gateshead lads are as hard as nails though, eh :hail: All the same, roll on the spring...!
its in the echo today, they,re closing the shops, and trying to get the museum up and running, place shuts sunday for 3 months, all to do with heritage, councils, etc and funding!
As Ted said it was in the Echo and has been on the TV about Harperley POW camp today. Twenty-five workers will lose their jobs on Sunday when the camp shuts for three months
