You've started me off now. Lookin at a couple of 900ss's a couple of 748's and a couple of 916's:eek:
Got the dosh but there's so much to chose from and there's a nice S4 for sale as well. I've got the Eonan curse:D :D

Well it's like this...I only started riding last year, and when I bought the Monster I had no intention of doing anything to it...other than dropping the mickey mouse ears and chopping the tail. All I wanted was a Ducati and to learn how to ride.

Then Alvins dropped her on her side, before I'd even had a chance to sit on her! They resprayed her and when she came back, the rest of her just looked bloody awful next to the lovely new paint work. It all went a bit pete tong from there! With every bit I replaced there was always a bit next to it that now looked pish in comparisson.

The problem now though, is I'm terrified to learn how to ride properly. I've become really precious about the bloody thing. I bought it to use as my form of daily transport...now I'm even feardy to get her wet :watchout: This was never the plan.

I'm after another bike, one that I can take to track days like Ducati Glasgow's Knockhill nights, and not miss out on learning how to ride properly because I'm too busy worrying that something might happen to the bike. How crazy is that...I'm more worried about the bike than I am of anything happening to me! That attitude may well change if/when I do come off though.
 
I've even got an eye on my dream leathers on eBay...to go with the bike I don't even have yet!

And if I have those leathers, it would just break my heart to have them sitting there all lonely and neglected without a bike to keep them company :(

Biased I know but I would say take a test ride on a Multistrada before committing to buy anything......;) ;) ;) ;) Ugly as a bulldog liking pish of a nettle but a bloody good ride:thumbs:

Havin a look at a 900ss next week. 96 model and only 4,000 on the clock, mate of a mate of a mate:thumbs:
