I haven't started on it yet as I got a bottle of Calvados (which took precedent) - but I'll let you know when I do

I opened this Welsh Whisky tonight and am impressed.
It's extremely smooth, not peaty, and (I looked it up) is on sale at Sainsbury's for £20 a 70cl bottle.
I'm on my second large glass after 20 minutes - I'll make sure I get more

Went to Tesco this morning and they were selling this as "clearance" reduced from £22 to £18.70 for a 70cl bottle - might open it this evening....
Just looked it up...

That's what I was thinking. A guy I play golf with was telling us about a mate of his that makes his own whiskey...he said it's pretty good. I asking him how long it takes him..."about 2 weeks" - I spit my beer out! Aparently this guy can make whatever you want...brandy, vodka, whiskey...I thought either this guy is a tea leaf, or he's getting meths or something and watering it down and adding flavourings.

It says on the back that Crabbie invented the Whisky Mac by mixing Scotch and Ginger.

It’s fabulous but use Stones Green Ginger Wine not Crabbies - much nicer taste
and yes 50:50 is spot on.I use Tesco cheapo whisky to mix.

You only mix Whisky with fortified wine, not water or ice - and only cheap Whisky too - it's the lawMIXING ! What are you thinking…….

Currently I'm drinking 4/5ths Whyte and Mackay whisky with 1/5th Southern Comfort, and it does the trick......
