What Trackday companies are there ???

ok i know about Focused Events & Tracksense, are there any more ?

Looking to go to Jerez in April, anyone else going ?

i see that Focused Events** are fully booked up for theyre april day.

Are there any other companies ?

given a preference in the Uk I would always pick No Limits first with Hottrax a close second. I only use focused if the date/track make it worthwhile.

We went to Jerez with Racedays back in November and I would def say they were great with a well structured yet relaxed set up and most likely who we will go with again this year.
 
I doubt I will be doing many trackdays next year, although obviously I will come to the DuN day - one you must consider is the DSC 2 dayer at Cadwell, run along the same lines as the No-Limits days, end of August, Hog roast etc and last year I think it was £170 superb value for money.
 
Cheers Claire, i think im gonna try & do that 1 in November with Racedays.

DSC trackday would be good ian, how many bikes turn up ?

looks like tracksense are fully booked for the 13-15 of april & focused have a few spaces for 9th-11th april. hmmmmm

i was told focused wernt very good to go with.

He seems like a decent guy and some of his mates have ridden with me (MTB's) and all speak highly of the set up. He had (has?) an R6 track bike (stock) and is apparently quite quick......as well as a bit nuts.....should be good to go with then. Keep me posted.
 
Will do Will do. i sent alot of emails to companies but they all seem to take a while starting back up after the holidays.

Mention me and the shop, it may galvanise them into action. Charlie has been one of my customers before now, and several of his mates have both pedalled and motorbiked with me. Nothing works better than a personal connection. I find networking is great.

Hi All

Firstly my apologies for the numerous changes in the programme for this coming season especially as I know most of you are keen to start planning your biking year.

So without further ado here's what we are doing. Please note that due to the difficulty of getting hold of and the expense there of hotels in Madrid over the Easter weekend I am not going to be able to run the Jarama trip.

MAY 23-28, France road run
Leaving Portsmouth on the Weds night crossing we'll spend 4 1/2 days blasting through France aiming to be to catch the overnight ferry back on the Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Expect new routes down to the Med coast and back. Final costs will depend on numbers but expect somewhere in the region of £380 for ferries, accommodation and support vehicle. Please indicate by email your interest to join this weekend away.

JULY 7-11, Estoril, Portuguese GP Circuit
This circuit is now booked and paid for. There are 40 places on the truck and a few only on the road trip. Full details on the attached details and booking form.

OCT 25-27, Circuit Guadix, Spain
This circuit undergoing refurbishment and resurfacing is a favourite of Superbike testers. Checkout www.guadixcircuit.com - Full details and prices out in the Spring but this will replace the Albacete / Valencia trip and so expect prices to be similar - around £490

I hope you are all able to make one or more of the trips and look forward to seeing you all at some point across the course of the year.

Well, i want to go to Jerez but ive got a Dilema, ive been planning to go with my m8 martyn with the Mille, now hes going to a wedding in April on the 13th, which lands band on when Tracksense are going to Jerez.

so i saw Almeria, asked a few folks & they said try going to Jerez for your 1st Euro Trackday as Almeria/Valencia arnt really very good beginner tracks to do first.

just trying to gather info on Euro circuits Claire.

What others have you done besides Jerez

I have only done Jerez although we have looked at Mugello and Almeria as well.

Plenty of people go to Almeria, Categena etc but from what I know Jerez i the one that will impress you as well as being awesome to ride on. I personally think if you are paying lots of money it's about the whole experience not just the track (unless you are mr racer).

Can you not find some others to go along to the one you want instead?

Well I had a call from Chico yesterday trying to organise something with Tracksense and April/Jerez.... but I don't know.

Not done one at the beginning of the year, usually takes me a few days to get back into the swing of things and getting up to speed, maybe this could be the one to do...
