Too much strong cheese GromitJust woke from a great dream! About 20 of us forum members were on the piss on a bus heading to Switzerland.
We were having a great time and you were all normal looking and much younger than i expected. @wroughtironron was trying to talk me into marrying his daughter who was alot yonger than me and pretty hot!!
I woke just as we pulled up at a bar and @Char was saying she was buying everyone drinks.. char looks a bit like suzi Quattro when she had a mullet .
@Exige looks just like he did when he was the captain of the love boat..
Dont normally share my dreams as no one gives a fuck about what ya get up to in real life let alone in a dream, but it was a good one.
Oh and @Noobie wasbanging on about we should carry on to Australia coz it was only 15 mins away if the tide was right...![]()
@The skitz was singing sea shanties .
I think perry was driving for a bit then loz took over...
I loved Lahti and the Finn's are great. To be fair I've work with them since 2002 so after 23 years I obviously don't find them objectionableHow did you like Lahti and the Fins?
I'd like to go back at some point.

Compared to the chaos that is Vietnam, the relative calm of Finland, and the fact that things just work, the air is clean and you can actually drink the tapwater, is great.
Dont gete wrong, in enjoy Vietnam. In would have to, to still be here after 25 years, but a long break is good. In definitely look forward to returning next summer of everything goes to plan.
A remarkably lenient sentence here

Dad killed at work by telehandler as family issues heartbreaking statement
James Connolly, 49, also known as Jamie, was fatally injured at a construction site in Ince, Ellesmere Portwww.manchestereveningnews.co.uk
I see it all the time on site .. absolute gobshites walking behind telehandlers dumpers and track machines.. an absolute stupid thing to do .. I had a transit absolutely caved in on a site unloading.. the van was parked on a road and the driver had to reverse up a narrow lane .. he didn't see my van at all and hit it full tilt.. I learned if they can see a van they definitely won't see a skitz^Using the phone whilst driving over a colleague is unforgivable BUT the victim must carry some of the blame for being behind the reversing handler.
I have two handlers and drive them most days, one in particular has very poor visibility due to an enormous exhaust stack - something to do with Addblue which I think is unnecessary on a farm vehicle. Working in tight buildings and up against hedges means that the mirrors are forever getting knocked out of alignment.
The son and his 2 mates went off on their very first bike trip today.. they are doing the wild Atlantic way for the next 5 days .. it was a buzz to see the excitement as they headed offmy son and his buddy have both worked part time for the last 6 years with me and both start their real careers the first week in September. They are all limited to 35kw till 24 years old which they all will be in the next 2 months.. A2 licence identical to the UKGood stuff! I hope they have a great time.
Is the system similar to the UK about having bikes in stages up to full power?
One of those landmark occasions, periods in our lives as fathers that should be cherished. I know there are other, more important ones like the day they were born, etc, but none the less ............ nice to be a part of !The son and his 2 mates went off on their very first bike trip today.. they are doing the wild Atlantic way for the next 5 days .. it was a buzz to see the excitement as they headed offmy son and his buddy have both worked part time for the last 6 years with me and both start their real careers the first week in September. And? Any luck?If you are a gambler, a rag named Mordor is running in 20 minutes at York - a rank outsider at something like 80/1 (the 4-10 race )
Looks like ET beat his horse as Small Fry wonAnd? Any luck?
I think it means there won't be a glue shortage this week.Yeah, I don't know what any of that means
I once owned a race horse. Hateful fucking thing.
Was glad when it went.

KP Beecroft was my business partner in one of my businesses.
He paid something like 25k for it as a youngster.
You can see by its record that it couldn’t run for toffee and it was a lunatic.
I bought it off him for 1k and my then wife tried to turn it into an event horse.
After 3 years and costing a fortune we sold it for 3k.![]()
Both my daughters have ridden horses since they were very young. The 2k uplift wouldn’t cover the stable fees…but softened the blow.
My daughter had a horse - lovely looking thing and she did well with it showjumping, but cost a fortune ti keep.
My eldest daughter wanted a horse, never got one, she grew up and got a dogBoth my daughters have ridden horses since they were very young.
The youngest has a degree in horse management and has had horses all her working life. She’s just sold her latest project as she buys youngsters and brings them on.
It’s a labour of love as you said because after fees there’s no profit in it.
Much better choiceMy eldest daughter wanted a horse, never got one, she grew up and got a dog![]()
As you had only just planted the seed I wouldn't worry about 'that' frost it's the one that comes after they've germinated that will kill them.Yesterday ( your fellas today) i tried to have a very easy day as my shoulder is acting up bad.
Manged to rewire the trailer as the lights were hanging off and the cable had several patches in it. A few months back i bought a new set of lights with the cable that were attached to a board, used on boat trailers etc.
Cheap as coz the board was broken, the idea was just remove them from the board and fit to trailer. What a fucken faf. Should have paid the $60 more for the correct kit but after 3 hours and a trip to town for connections i finally got there
Then i spent a leisurely afternoon sowing seeds, re-potting seedlings and planting out 1 of the gardens with shallots, rocket and lettuce. All good.
Today ( your fellas tomorrow) i woke to find it frosty as fuck out there! I doubt the seedlings will survive. Grrrrr. ..
Fucken global warming! Last 2 winters we had about 3 frosts each. Been about 8 this year. I thought they had past. The last one, 3 weeks back killed a bunch of b's plants that were on the deck under a roof and mostly enclosed by the plastic blinds. ..
It was -4 that morning. We live in the fucken winterless north ffs!!!!
Anyhu, still in bed in pain so will have a look later
