Moving away from furry animals up the chuffer, I met my weight loss goal today.
13,13 to 12,8. Almost a racing snake again.

I have no knowledge or experience of rodent entombment, I was just trying to be helpful as always.

Spent the last 3 days superficially tidying up- the Czech plane lands today

They land late tonight - wake up in the morning and I treat them to Sunday Lunch at 12 noon in a York boozer, then I meet my mates at 2pm in a York beer garden for a few hours and they can come with me or go shopping or go home.....

Went for a swim in the river Allen at Whitfield, Northumberland.
Found a nice little pool further down stream from the accessible bit where most people go. Had the place to myself.
Wasn't cold at all and deep enough to swim properly. Above head height in places.
Only managed a few strokes and a splash about before hauling out and sunning myself on the rocks. Made me realise what and old fart I've become. Need to do a lot more of this kind of thing. Twenty years ago I'd have been doing the crawl up and down that pool non-stop for an hour and then got a mask and snorkel out. If it's hot tomorrow I might go again but really early in the morning.
Was going to get the bike out when I got home but there was a crack or two of thunder while I was swimming and the sky looked a bit threatening. Hopefully back to sunshine tomorrow. Swim and bike would be a perfect day.
