I hope you find it cathartic.
Some people can't bear to move on and let go of the past and it's like a ball and chain around their leg.
It's always good having a clear out.

If you haven't done so already, might be worth checking values on something like Discogs, although judging condition of sleeve and media can be a bit subjective, just to make sure any offer from vinyl-wanted is reasonable, noting it's a buy it now price. The record buyer has got back to me and they are very interested in my collection (i knew they would be) they are going to arrange there courier to pick my collection up with boxes at there cost. They will then research the collection and give me a price and if we can't come to an agreement they will send them back to me again at there cost. The reviews for them are very good indeed.

I also have quite a collection, two beer crates full, and 10years ago I was furiously digitising it to my PC using an interface for my turntable. I also will never play again but hopefully can gift it…Today i had to get up early as the plumber has got the parts to fix our boiler and i've just spent an hour and a half taking photos of my record collection. I'm selling it to a buying company, i had to upload pictures on there form and i wrote down how many of each band i have, i will never be playing them again. I have nobody to pass them on to and it's just sitting there doing nothing and the time has come to let somebody else enjoy them, i like to think i'm giving them a new life. Everything is on YouTube so i can listen to stuff on there.
Surly you will have this one, preferably pink vinyl (asking for Noobster)Right!!, Who the fuck told you??![]()
I pretty much know the value of each album, there is one in there that i know is £150!! I have a ball park price for the collecion so i can see some haggling coming on.If you haven't done so already, might be worth checking values on something like Discogs, although judging condition of sleeve and media can be a bit subjective, just to make sure any offer from vinyl-wanted is reasonable, noting it's a buy it now price.
It can take some time for things to sell on Discogs though, which might be down to asking price.
Is there any Hawkwind in the collection….I pretty much know the value of each album, there is one in there that i know is £150!! I have a ball park price for the collecion so i can see some haggling coming on.![]()
Yep, 23 albums with a couple that are £100 quid each and Pink Fairies Live at the Roundhouse 1975 in pink vinyl, the proper see through pink with poster. The Pink Fairies did a pink one that is solid pink and it looks crap!!
That is bang on the budget... what a fantastic house... I'd have to wait for the market to pick up a bit...This is perfect, only 5 minutes from where I crashed so it would have sentimental value.
Come on AC you know it makes sense..
Some of the inside looks pretty dated and the outside appears to want some money spending on it, particularly the outbuildings. Factor that in.That is bang on the budget... what a fantastic house... I'd have to wait for the market to pick up a bit...
I've heard a rumour that another property that adjoins mine may be up for sale, so I need to keep 650 bags handy... just in case.
There’s 7 acres so you’ll have to get me a ride on mower. Two weeks off fully paid for the TT….That is bang on the budget... what a fantastic house... I'd have to wait for the market to pick up a bit...

Everyone is offloading vinyl.. not b though! Nope, she bought 5 albums last week and we don't even have a turn table... coz what ya need when ya rebuilding a house is more shit to store somewhere....I also have quite a collection, two beer crates full, and 10years ago I was furiously digitising it to my PC using an interface for my turntable. I also will never play again but hopefully can gift it…
My favourite album is 801 Live followed by TOMMY Bolin, Private Eyes
My dad also has a massive collection of classical music and he has talked about getting rid of it. But we will wait until he passes and then deal with it…
You’ll regret selling them. My little one Eliza is getting all my music when I cark it plus my mums huge vinyl Elvis collection. The record buyer has got back to me and they are very interested in my collection (i knew they would be) they are going to arrange there courier to pick my collection up with boxes at there cost. I’m the same. Do you have Record Store Day in NZ?Everyone is offloading vinyl.. not b though! Nope, she bought 5 albums last week and we don't even have a turn table... coz what ya need when ya rebuilding a house is more shit to store somewhere....
I have nobody to hand them down to and i haven't played an album for well over 20 years!! It's time for somebody else to enjoy them, i can listen to anything on youtube. Albums are making a come back so now is the right time to sell. You’ll regret selling them. My little one Eliza is getting all my music when I cark it plus my mums huge vinyl Elvis collection.
I’ve tried to brainwash all my kids by forcing them to listen to my music since they were tiny.
It’s only worked on Eliza, she has an impeccable taste in music just like her dad….
We have a video of her sitting on her own when she was about 3 singing Nothing Else Matters. She had no idea we were watching and filming her.
No doubt when I kick the bucket she’ll sell everything!
I could always leave everything to Stuart the Dog, I get more sense out of him than my girls!

Yea we do.. b bought these at an op shop for a dollar each and they are quite amusing. I'll put pics up in a bit... I can't be mad at her but we do have so much crap already . We've enough to fill a 4 bed house and we have a 2 bed building site....I’m the same. Do you have Record Store Day in NZ?
