What the feck have you done today?

The record buyer has got back to me and they are very interested in my collection (i knew they would be) they are going to arrange there courier to pick my collection up with boxes at there cost. They will then research the collection and give me a price and if we can't come to an agreement they will send them back to me again at there cost. The reviews for them are very good indeed.:)

Right!!, Who the fuck told you?? :)

If you haven't done so already, might be worth checking values on something like Discogs, although judging condition of sleeve and media can be a bit subjective, just to make sure any offer from vinyl-wanted is reasonable, noting it's a buy it now price.

It can take some time for things to sell on Discogs though, which might be down to asking price.

Today i had to get up early as the plumber has got the parts to fix our boiler and i've just spent an hour and a half taking photos of my record collection. I'm selling it to a buying company, i had to upload pictures on there form and i wrote down how many of each band i have, i will never be playing them again. I have nobody to pass them on to and it's just sitting there doing nothing and the time has come to let somebody else enjoy them, i like to think i'm giving them a new life. Everything is on YouTube so i can listen to stuff on there (y).
I also have quite a collection, two beer crates full, and 10years ago I was furiously digitising it to my PC using an interface for my turntable. I also will never play again but hopefully can gift it…
My favourite album is 801 Live followed by TOMMY Bolin, Private Eyes
My dad also has a massive collection of classical music and he has talked about getting rid of it. But we will wait until he passes and then deal with it…

I pretty much know the value of each album, there is one in there that i know is £150!! I have a ball park price for the collecion so i can see some haggling coming on. (y)

This is perfect, only 5 minutes from where I crashed so it would have sentimental value.
Come on AC you know it makes sense..
That is bang on the budget... what a fantastic house... I'd have to wait for the market to pick up a bit...
I've heard a rumour that another property that adjoins mine may be up for sale, so I need to keep 650 bags handy... just in case.

Some of the inside looks pretty dated and the outside appears to want some money spending on it, particularly the outbuildings. Factor that in.

There’s 7 acres so you’ll have to get me a ride on mower. Two weeks off fully paid for the TT….

You’ll regret selling them. My little one Eliza is getting all my music when I cark it plus my mums huge vinyl Elvis collection.
I’ve tried to brainwash all my kids by forcing them to listen to my music since they were tiny.
It’s only worked on Eliza, she has an impeccable taste in music just like her dad….
We have a video of her sitting on her own when she was about 3 singing Nothing Else Matters. She had no idea we were watching and filming her.
No doubt when I kick the bucket she’ll sell everything!
I could always leave everything to Stuart the Dog, I get more sense out of him than my girls!

I’m the same. Do you have Record Store Day in NZ?
I bought a couple of albums a few weeks ago, they’ve been put in the loft with all my other vinyl.
I don’t have a turn table either!!

I have nobody to hand them down to and i haven't played an album for well over 20 years!! It's time for somebody else to enjoy them, i can listen to anything on youtube. Albums are making a come back so now is the right time to sell. (y)

Yea we do.. b bought these at an op shop for a dollar each and they are quite amusing. I'll put pics up in a bit... I can't be mad at her but we do have so much crap already . We've enough to fill a 4 bed house and we have a 2 bed building site....
