I guess most relevant was a hire (think it was based on a transit) about 2010. 6 berth with a boot. Didn't have AirCon which was a big problem in Paris and bugs could get in through the boot to rear sleeping area (daughters unimpressed). Paris was motorhome unfriendly - even supermarket's had height barriers to stop entry - but it was fine for a family of 4 for a couple of weeks. Something like skitz would be better for longer term unless you want to spend all your time out of the van

, the camper on its own is 5000 kgs the diesel and water and gas brings it close to 5500 kgs with all my gear has to be close to 6250kgs easy and not a problem whatsoever! I've never found anywhere a problem for my size motorhome
A lot of people switch their brains off when using a satnav, that’s when it goes wrong, you need to be switch on all the time when on the road with a big vehicle.
Looking good, do you know the maximum permitted gross weight and your nett weight , so in other words how many kilos of stuff you can load? This includes all fluids and people on board too, or have you never bothered with working that out ?My licence is up to 7500kg but have had my bus fully fueled with all my toys

7100kgs is it's max weight and it states if it's minus 1 axle 5800 kgs or at least I think that what it is saying
Hmmm 1300 kilo nett loading capacity could be right, I don’t know how motorhomes are plated but normally you would have a maximum gross payload, you then weigh your vehicle on a weight bridge with full fluids and yourself in it, you then know what you can legally take with you as a load, you also normally have a maximum payload per axle, so legal weight distribution per axle is a thing, you could for example be fined when only one axle is overloaded but you could still be within legal limits for total load capacity, right bastards if they get you on a weight bridge ......I just checked the vin plate for the first time ever
Put Irish plates on the camper we never get any hassle as our government is linked to no other country, I've been driving since 2006 in Europe and the only place I'd hassle was the shit hole
Switzerland held on the border for 3 hours as they claimed I should be carrying my vehicle registration so they could ascertain the weight of my camper told them we don't carry these documents in Ireland as someone could steal them and transfer ownership, after 3 hours I finally figured out it was for the vignette for the toll roads they wouldn't believe the vin plate so told them just charge me the max which turned out the camper was in that class anyway total of 32 euro what complete ass holes but never a single question in any other country 
I use a sat nav but I've never used voice prompt on the bike or camper van I'm fairly observant so keep an eye on it but the road and signs are more important
