What electric cars have you seen and like the look of ?

We replaced the other half’s Fiat 500 a few days ago and as usual for me things went pear shaped.
We had an electric Fiat 500 courtesy car whilst things were being sorted. I’ve never driven an electric vehicle before and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
I’m not into cars at all but it was no worse than driving the normal 500, I’m sure I looked a right Guinness driving it.
It made the normal 500 seem out of date to be honest.

If the move to electric and inevitably, self driving cars, will we need a driving test? If you are nothing more than a passenger would you need one? If the answer is no then I can see the driving schools going out of business quick smart when that stage kicks in?
 
My son's recently purchased a Tesla, don't know the model but it really is impressive, 550 BHP with no gears to change makes it quite rapid from a standing start, then he tried to show me all the cameras around it picking up things while driving, he lost me with the technology , what is surprising it has the biggest brakes and callipers yet he says he never uses them as the motor does all the braking, he recently went to France in it and when he got home there wasn't a sign of brake dust on the wheels!!

@Birdie, this is not directed at you so much as just a pondering on what you said. The purpose of all these lectric cars is to save the enviromemt as I understand things. Would it not make much more sense to make an electric car that lasts for days rather than go 0 to 60mph in sub 3 seconds. Rather than focus on going 200 mph we get 500 mile range with no need for 4 motors and 8000lbs of batteries? They could simply make us a normal mid size car with long range and less frequent battery replacement/recycling by simply making an economy version as all out performance could take a back seat to range and lighter weight. Less power draw would require less recharging- batteries have a max number of possible cycles of charge and discharge and less power would mean less batteries to recycle and less overall weight. We have people buying economy petrol cars with as low as 45hp but the cars that are supposed to save the planet have 550hp? Maybe I am just uninformed or crazy or most likely both. We have people worried about pollution and running out of oil and Dodge has a 1000 HP daily driver car as an option, maybe I just dont belong o. this planet
