What DUCATI have to say about SUNDAYS MOTO GP RESULT!

IF you have not seen the race, all you will see of it is a crappy half hour coverage on crappy Eurosport with two lots of adverts. I promise I will never but a suz*** burger or stay in a novatel hotel or buy a 25 box set of country Cd's, what is the point in putting ads on when there is something happening. And Julien Ryders commentary is so annoyingly over the top!

If ever there was a reason for sacking the gravel jockey Stoner and giving the second seat to Troy and giving the WSB rides to Neil and Chris Walker then Ducati are not taking Troys win seriously enough!

???? You've lost me Steve, Eurosports coverage is way above the BBC's the insight no only from Julian (he does live 5 miles away remember) Toby and Randy is top dollar, the adverts are annoying I'll agree but I still don't turn over to watch the ill informed BBC twaddle :D

Back to the race though.... I have one word.... BAYLISTIC! :D three cheers for that man

Well...I taped both......"taped"???.......Sky+! and I went for BBC...so much light hearted and more in depth......these 2 clowns on Eurosport are like the 2 old gits in the Muppets! :D

Jon...its all technical stuff that I dont really come near too...I just like the informal banter of the BBC....I like the 250's,closer racing too, but the coverage on BBC is great and light hearted

Nae pistols at dawn please! ;) ;)

I don't understand either, the coverage was great. I too am surprised they are taking on Stonesor!!!

Prefer Eurosport myself, even with the annoying adverts.I did prefer Julians predecessor though, the american, Dennis Noyes, made a much better combination with toby moody I thought.
What I did notice was a sense of satisfaction about Rossi being toppled, which is a shame, as like him or no,he's a much better rider than hayden will ever be.

I thought that Rossi showed what a true and great champion he is by not giving up, both all through the season and in todays race. To me it seemed that something was not quite right with his bike today that is why he was not moving up through the field. When he came off he must have known that it was all over but he carried on with an imperfect bike. At the end of the race when he made the effort to congratulate Hayden even though I got the feeling Hayden didn't want to accept it that showed what a genuine champion Rossi is.
I just wish Ducati would cough up the reddies and sign him :flypig:

i really felt for rossi when he came off. i think hayden is the least deserving champion weve had in a long time. and i think ducati ,due to that crash sete had missed out on a chance to win the title this year or at least the manufacturers title

Did BBC show the 250 title being won also? and the 125's? Oh and morning warm ups? :p

Morning Jon, I do agree with you that the Eurosport is more extensive in the coverage and I do watch the practice and qualifying and the coverage of the AMA Superbike was really good. It's just they always choose the wrong time to put adverts on and I cannot see the point in putting two or three lots of adverts on during the race! I am sure that it will annoy the viewers rather than encourage them to buy the product. It seems a bit strange that the only motorcycle being advertised is by a company that are crap in Moto GP as well as WSB.
Julian may be more informative but does he really have to get so excited about every overtake?
