what chance has this kid got

this is not motorbike related in the slightest but i had to sound off at this one.

what chance of a decent life can a girl who fell pregnant at 11 and her soon to be born child have.
she says she started smoking at 9 drinking at 10 has been suspended from school for fighting and is going to have a baby in a months time.
the mother says shes proud of the daughter for keeping the baby and that she`ll look after the child while the girl goes to school.
christ she couldnt even look after her daughter she has 6 kids of her own so has obviously very little concept of contraception,lives of the state and smokes in front of her pregnant daughter,who is also still smoking.

people like these shouldnt be allowed to keep children,they are just creating an underclass that will never get better no matter how much money you throw at them.

I suspect that throwing money at them simply makes the situation worse. These people know all the dodges and just take advantage of it. And you are right, what hope has the kid got? It is the lifetstyle and environment which she grows up in that sets her up for life but to these people that's probably normal unfortunately.

it just says shes from west lothian and describes here street as very run down.
of all the cruel and nasty things we do to each other,its what we do to kids that is by far the worst and when we see stuff like this going on we should all be horrified
