What can you recommend watching?

Woke up to what i can say is a fucking grey pissing down day, i had a quick flik through the tv guide(what i have seen on tv this christmas is fucking crap), i saw The Third Man was on BBC2 in HD, what a masterpiece it is, not seen it for a while and i would highly recommend it. (y)
 
Just finished season 4 of Mayans MC, some of the scenes were difficult to watch given the subject matter but well written and acted.
Don’t have kids in the room if you watch it 🤣

Maybe I`m being simplistic but the cure to poaching , illegal jungle clearance etc is very simply to pay people more to look after things than they earn by destroying them.
If the jungles are the lungs of the planet and vital to a healthy atmosphere and of course the species that live there how can those that control the money not pay to protect them. Got to be better value to fund prevention rather than the cure.

On Boxing day in the fields around home the local wankers gathered to hunt the Muntjac and Chinese Water deer that live around us . All dressed up in country attire, with beaters driving the lovely helpless animals in to their paths to be shot . Then the wankers took turns to be photographed holding their kill.
I have no issue with killing animals to eat or earn a living. Minimum distress to the animals preferred of course What I abhor is people enjoying killing and making a social event of it.
So, feel free to shoot them but don`t enjoy it and make sure you eat them or are well paid for doing it.

Sadly when these creatures escaped from Woburn years ago they bred in the wild and have become very destructive to forestry so need eliminating. They are not natives

We live 3 miles from Woburn so there are plenty close by and they cause all sorts of problems. I`ve seen dogs, big dogs at that, with huge scars from the Chinese Water Deer tusks and only last week a lady was knocked down by one that ran into her after she startled it. It broke her leg.
She was told she would have to wait 16 hours for an ambulance FFS. Hats off to the landlord of the local who stayed with her and then helped her son in law load her into the car to take her to hospital.
All that said, eliminate them if needs be but I stand by my comment that doing so should not be an enjoyable social event.

That would be a misnomer, they are CHINESE Water Deer so have Communist tendencies and I apologise for living in what can only be described as ghastly white middle class area so all the victims are ghastly white middle class , even their dogs (under the fur). Quite likely Conservative voters too .
