What can you recommend watching?

Watched Matrix Resurrections- it was interesting, confusing at times and moronic at others. The best aspect of the film for me was the connection between Neo and Trinity.

There's something to be said about how the strength of connection between souls can motivate people to persevere through insurmountable odds. I'm a sucker for shit like that.

Just watching a film called Don't look up. It's a star studded film comedy about two astro physicists trying to convince the americam media and president about a huge asteroid about to hit earth in 5 months. It's funny but definately quirky.
It’s a good film, strong moral story there, which most film critics, notably the one in The Guardian (and sadly most US critics) completely and utterly missed. It’s a spoof, a parody, a send up of life in the US today and they couldn’t see that. Morons. Good film though, even got nominated for an Oscar.

Binge watched the last few episodes of "Billions", series 6 yesterday. (y)

I'm still none the wiser as to what the fook is happening. 🤷‍♂️

Watched The Courier last night on Prime. Stars Benedict Cumberbatch, true story, about an unwilling business man roped into doing work for MI6 & the CIA in 1961 on the eve of the Cuban missile crisis. Absolutely fantastic film 👍👍👍👍. Cumberbatch is brilliant. The story is brilliant (and true). Well worth 2hrs of any one’s time.

Decided to watch ‘The Courier’ on WCP’s recommendation; if you too want to watch it, it’s this one, on Prime-

And NOT this one, on Netflix:-

What a waste of time (even if it does have a motorbike and a leather clad woman) (it’s got 4.8 on IMDB) serves me right for not reading the post properly, I thought Benylin Cucumber Snatch’s make up was good.

Watched the aussie movie Wolf Creek again. I first saw it about 5yrs ago and was a bit creeped out. If you like suspense with blood and guts, this is the movie for you. 2 brit backpackers on the holiday of a lifetime with their aussie chum meet a fair dinkum backcuntry hick in a stunning location...I wanna go there, honest, but the rest of the circumstances I could do without!
will the forum post it as backguinnessy?

Watched a film called Kate, easy on the mind. Trained female killer from an early age in yacuza japan with a side twist. Also a film called army of thieves, again quirky but funny. Netflix doesn't seem to have many big hitters but it has a lot of choice. A bit like going to the wine shelves and ignoring North row vineyard sauvignon and trying a cheeky peruvian Grenache

Just watched an american film, I don't feel at home in this world anymore.
was a right laugh, nice to see something a bit different for a change...

Watched a film last night called the army of the dead. I only saw it because a film I watched a few days before, was the prequal (which I didn't know), which was called the army of thieves

If you are going to watch Army of the dead, then watch the later made prequel, army of thieves. It links one of the main characters, a geeky bank teller safecracker from a small town in Germany. The distance between the two films shows how much better the latter made prequel army of thieves is. It's a zombie, bank safe cracker comedy.

Zombie bank safe cracker you say, sounds believable - I'm withdrawing my cash immediately :ROFLMAO:

@Alan Williams would love this... full of Green stuff...
Good program

I am too into "The man who fell to earth". Sucks it updates weekly else I would have binged the entire story. I enjoy sci-fy and this is a good story so far.

Also a new season of Love-Death and Robots (Volume 3) on Netflix, my go to while waiting -13 minute sci-fy stories in amazing CGI. I just watch a few here and there to make them last cause I haven't seen a decent sci-fy flick in a while.

On Sky Arts starting in a minute 9PM-mdt , Pearl Jam at the Garden
