Decided to go and see my mother and had various other little tasks to do today, also had to give my new lid its first test run, up to a mates house for a brew and bike chat, you get on-line yet Chris ?
Dry roads, strong wind on open stretches, so went the sheltered, read B road way to hers, I havn't laughed so much on a bike - ever, airbourne on more occasions than I care to remember and wheelying over every little crest I came to
Not sure how accurate the fuel guage is I have damn near done a tank today though, the long way, everywhere, came across, hail wind and rain, even some Sun and laughed all the way, tootsies were getting a bit cold and my shlong had vanised when I tried to pee, nevertheless I loved every second !
Will be out again 2moro if its not raining, MartinH, brew at Devil's ? Would have popped up to M&L's, it was really windy though and didn't fancy Kirkstone, or Shap.
As for the Arai TourX, fantastic helmet, surprisingly quiet, very comfy although it does try and snap your neck if you get your head position wrong at +110
Felt the tyres when I got back to the garage and there was alot of heat in then, in fact I was shocked at how much there was really !
Roll on the next ride !
