We had a great weekend of beer and bikes and food and great company from the MOB belgian guys and girls. They looked after us and we were treated like VIP friends. We broke the record buy 199 more than the last one and is now set at 405 and more were there but time limit was at 2pm. We had a 405 bike ride out through the streets for 3 kms. Noisey and awesome. I will post a link to pics but heres 2 videos.

Not great but if you hit the higher quality button is better.

Enjoy a taste of the day.

It was truly fun . The record can be broken at any time by anyone but it has ti be officialy counted and that involves paying for an official at great expense and hope you get enough. The Yanks reckon they are going to do it and they have been bragging on their site before we even set our record. They have it planned for sometime next year but they havent seemed to noticed that we have done it now. They must have been napping. I must go and bragg to them that they have now a target LOL

Ducati Monster Breaks World Record

Ducati North Europe is proud to inform you that our legendary Ducati Monster
broke the Guinness Book ‘Largest Parade of Motorcycles of the Same Brand and
Type’ Record.

Under the sunny skies of Belgium the small town of Hamme-Moerzeke felt the
ground shake when 405 Monsteristi started their engines to ride around town.
The parade, which was organised by the ‘Monster Owners Belgium’ Club, was
almost 200 bikes larger than the record which was set in 2003 (with 207
Yamaha TDM’s). A crushing result, which was made possible by enthusiast
riders who came from Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, France, Great-Britain,
Germany, Romania and other countries to form one Ducati family.

The World Record attempt was part of the annual MOB Monster Day, which
celebrated its 5th anniversary this year. The event attracted over 1500
visitors who saw Ducati setting another historical result, which can be
added to its rich history.

Well thank you for posting that. I take it its official now then. There is a period of time where it has to be verified.
