There and back in one piece with my lad. Rode all the way there (Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland and Italy) and back on the Multi, never missed a beat and now it's been cleaned looks new again. Met the most obnoxious yank at a hotel in Switzerland - He got plenty of good old British sarcasm although I fear it went staight over his head - I feel at the moment that American Intelligence are not two complimentary words. About 2500 miles. Met some interesting people (no, not the prostitutes at Bologna on the way to the factory !) with Charlie and Jane from Ducati Leeds.
Anyway I've got some pictures if anyone's inerested but don't know how to download them here from my digital camera thingy.

yanks don't really do sarcasm - we have a lot round here from the base and it's painfully difficult at times to make headway.......

The Swiss Alps are fantastic. The trip was very eventfull beginning with the floods in Hull.320 people missed the ferry to Zeebrugge. I thought I was going to be one of them but got there with an hour to spare. The last ten miles took four hours of dodging traffic, floods up to my knees on the bike and the Police. Slipping the clutch for four hours is no joke. Pity it was my left arm when I'm right-handed. The Clutch fluid boiled and I couldn't change gear. Rested it for 20 minutes then it was ok.
