Elder son emailed me tonight to tell me he has bought a Certina watch new from Ernest Jones' shop in the Alfreton Designer Outlet.
According to the salesman, it should cost £535, but because the box was lost, they wanted £428 (it's new).

Just bought this off the Bay of Fleas. I don't know why, other than I was bored and it looked to be heading for a very reasonable price (compared to others on sale)
Ended up paying £484
I might end up giving it to the elder son - haven't decided yet.

For those not in the know, the lump on the side of the watch is a clone which develops independently over time into a new watch - usually a Timex or a Reflex (depending on your luck)
