Yer I know this one, was at Baines when they built it, it's a half-a- Imola, original frame just Imola bodywork.

Spoke to him at length before he headed off. Was based in Isle of Man and combination of location, not colour scheme I wanted and fact I missed it by a few days when MCN had sold it (for less than he wanted) meant I let it go. Baines had done a full rebuild on the engine and I got the original MCN article on it. Could also be considered a bit twee having possibly the only 2 Imolas in Scotland 2 miles apart!:D
He was unsure of whether to take it with him or not but guess he did from your comments. He had a pal on Isle of Man with one as well from memory. He was due to leave in January this year.

yer, his mate on the island has the NCR replica one (red one in broshure), which is still at Baines in Northants.
Yes he is down under now and enjoying life down there with a very rare bike.

I shouldn't consider it twee with two simular bikes in the parish, lets face it, there are hundreds of Ducs, Hondas, Yams etc. within a short distance from eachother around here. :)
