Many years ago and with $1,800 dollars in my pocket, I went to a bike shop on North Main Street in Spearfish, South Dakota and bought a Surly Moonlander. It had 26 inch wheels with 4.8 inch tyres, low gearing and a real go anywhere bike. Spent a lot of time up and down the Spearfish canyon trials and it looked like this
Fast forward and Surly bikes have launched a new Moonlander 2 with 24 inch wheels, 6.2 inch wide tyres and 9 speed pinion gearbox but with a price of £4,699 and is not for the shy and retiring as you will get looks

Found this yesterday. I want one, I'm sure I could figure out how to make something with it. I'd like to mod the exhaust on the KTM into a dual-low like the SF. I hate that big ass can hanging off the side.
I'm sure some of you here would make great use of this tool.

A friends oldest teen kid was always had severe illness. Specialists were called in, blood, urine etc etc were all done but to no avail until a junior doctor attached to a specialist hospital said they knew what it was as their sister had it, purely by chance what followed was life changing for the whole familly. The golden/copper ring of the eye is one obvious tell tale
It was called Wilson's disease. Wilson's disease is a genetic disorder caused by mutations in the ATP7B gene, which is responsible for copper transport in the body. It is inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern, meaning that an individual must inherit two copies of the mutated gene, one from each parent, to develop the disease. It could have been fatal had that chance meeting not happened. The other three kids had it to and it would have given them serious illness's and possibly death.
Although they would have it for life and would pass it down to their own kids, the key was to make sure any future partner did not have it.
