Looks ridiculous, the grafix are getting insanely realistic in games today. Never played Senua (maybe the demo on the 1st installment) but I may have to check it out.

So what though? Aside from it being interesting, what would finding a 150K year old intact city do for us? This civilization is fukked and will be wiped off the face of the earth like those who preceeded us. Only to begin again.

[What is known by those who know (I'm just regurgitating failing memory of a tale), is that the Atlanteans were ruthless conquerors, hell bent on global domination. The Chinese (eastern) caucasians and ancestors of the Persians(?) allegedly put a stop to it with real old tech only to be lost to cosmic catastrophe and the resulting ice age that followed. Thus is the cycle. Survivors migrate, rebuild, war against one another, then get wiped by forces too great to mitigate, as we will, sometime in the future in similar fashion.
As I understand it, these were the last of the last highly advanced civilization, followed by the Tartars and such whose remnant tech is all around us and quickly vanishing.
Anyway, there's much more to these stories of course and there are people out there who have the funding and resources who have successfuly discovered part of this history, and more; we're all aware of bits and pieces of it and walk by the evidence left behind virtually unaware of its place in time. ]
OPINION:
I think the narrative we have today is a carefully crafted one that aligns with the systems of control, and the controlers fund the academics who wouldn't dare challenge, discredit or derail the gravy train that feeds them.
