I'd love a Speed Twin RS but I wouldn't pay an extra £1300 for one with special paintwork, less comfort and a turn-ups and beard pomade brown seat.

I like it but the 50's seat seems to contradict the 70's wheels. Should have been spokes and not alloys

I'd agree with that. The standard ST RS is a modern retro. The lines are trad but everything else looks deliberately bang up to date.
As well as wire wheels that should have mudguards painted to match the rest of the tin wear, black forks and spennies and twin round dials.
