The ultimate 999?

Freak

Is it still summer?
Nicked from the DSC think it might of been weeveetwin that posted the thread also, but was so good I thought you lot should see this, can't imagine how much £££ or $$$ the guys spent on this but have a look.

Oh the exhaust looks crap until you realise what he's trying to achieve.

No no no.... MartinH has joined the club now and is playing catch-up :p

Looks like the guy is trying to steal a march on Ducati and build a V2 sedici before the V4 road bikes are out.

QB carbon had a sedici looky likey on their stand at the NEC a few years back, but this is in a different league.

Why don't they have builds like this on Discovery??:D

Ray.

amazing, nice find Jon.

The look of the exhaust is exactly what Ducati need for the new SBK, forget twin pipes, that system just needs tidying up

hate the wavy discs especially the rear one, i think cause its smaller it looks more out of scale than anything else really. who was the arsehole who said check out the sexy welds on the exhaust. my old man having been a welder all his life would die laughing at that, sexy welds, get a life. but the work on the bike really looks amazing otherwise. i especially like the carbon bodywork

I'm not a fan of the looks of the 999 but this one is exquisite! I wish I'd taken photos of the complete build of my bike!
I too don't like wavy discs - they just don't seem to look right on a bike.
There is some serious money been thrown at that bike - love it!

What would I give to have the time, money, space and facilities to create something like that! A touch too much "in your face" carbon for me, but a decent paint job would hide it. Why flaunt it when you could seductively suggest it's there? I want! :)

There's another thread on the site and in excess of $100K is mentioned so around £60K+ he could of bought 2 desmo's for that!

buggerations, just had a bit of a hunt around to find those rearsets 'coz I really like them...

£715!!! hmmmmm..... but they are very pretty.....

hmmmmmm
