yup, same here, dragged the 999 out for the first time this year and realised why i love SBK's. Dry tarmac and stickier tyrs, wonderful. Went out with Linzi on her ickle RS last night for an hour, a warm sunny night almost like summer if it wasn't for the snow still on Cross Fell

We had a great pedally day yesterday, Mikey. Came up your way, did the Skiddaw Round, Lonscale Fell got back to Keswick in under two hours so went and did the last half again via Blencathra, on the singlespeed too. Awesome ride! Had a great time, weather was fantastic, watched a group of three Ducs come out of Keswick heading NW. Mixed emotions as you can guess.........roll on Monday, couldn't care about the weather but it's looking good so I believe.

last time i was up skiddaw was before xmas, rode it with Chipps for an article in Singletrack, got some lovely shots published, it was cold but sunny.
