The Book / Phil Aynsley

If you haven't already seen it - take a look at this...

This is a book that is currently being published in small numbers in Australia - the first copies are due into the author next week.

I've been in touch with him, with a view to getting some signed copies sent over to the UK for myself and a few like-minded friends. Becuase it's a big book (about 220 pages of high quality photography in hardback, which makes it quite heavy), it's always going to be pricey for shipping. Bulking up the order doesn't seem to make a significant difference to the shipping cost, but I thought I'd post here to see if anyone is interested.

I'm not looking to make any money out of this - it'll cost AU$99 for the book, and about AU$46 for shipping (per book), making the total around about £100 per book once you include onward shipping within the UK.

If you're interested in getting yourself a copy, feel free to PM me this week (before I confirm the order with Phil).

Pretty sure he is the guy with the green restored 860 that was featured in Classic Bike a month or two back.
Work done by Tony Hannagan that used to have the Beveltech.org website.

This was the bevel special he built but his last website seems to have vanished again!
His Beveltech site featured a picture of his ex-wife's posterior (it was very nice too!:)) so perhaps there is now more than one ex-wife and he is on the move!

If I went around spending £100 on a book  he wouldn't be the only one with an ex-wife :D

Yes, I do fully admit that it's a complete extravagance, but it does look absolutely stunning. I'll be looking forward to them arriving. :D
