Well, Cumbria now has a Ducati dealer and after years of complaining about how far I had to travel to get my bike serviced I decided it was in my own interests to support the local guy :)

Smart got booked in but as usual work interfered and Jon was real helpful getting me rescheduled ( a couple of times) onto a day/time that would suit, rode up this morning and he'd also managed to keep me their multi demo so I could give that a whirl. ta

Agreed time to collect bike, headed off and got back to find bike ready, all paperwork sorted inc getting a missing mileage from previous service, bike clean, tidy, little jobs like a headlight that I'd been told to tilt down at the MOT sorted despite me forgetting to mention it, nice.

even better a pleasant surprise on bill, very reasonable even more so when you take into consideration the costs of a 200/250 mile round trip either on bike adding miles to it or in the van which is how the Smart usually travels plus a day off to do it :)

All in all a great start from a new Ducati dealer and definitely worth a look if you do need your bike servicing

Ann has bought several bikes from them and has always sang their praises....she will obviously get the 696 serviced there and should I ever get my monster back they will get that to look after also...
