If it was up to me, I would arrest the whole town!!!! ;) ;) ;)
im with davie on this one but youll probably find hes just been arrested on charges of being out and about with big lips or being seen with unruly curly hair nowing scottish police ;)

The guys surnames Siddiq. All the time i was in Kuwait i was sure that meant friend in arabic, maybe i brought the bits back in me suitcase. Hawd on a minit there's a blue flashin light ootside the door.

Panic over. They were only worried about the noise comin from me new cans but they took a great interest in my sword collection, told them i was born in Glasgow and that did the trick.

Dont know what you guys are on about but if you want to post racist comments go join the BNP not a ducati web site. Always thought ducati owners had a few more brain cells than the average motorcyclist. Oh well another illusion shattered

Aircooled, I'm sorry but I dont see any particurlary racisct comments in the above posts. People have a right to be concerned that they are elements of the ethnic community that do indulge in activities not condusive to the wellbeing of this country and its inhabitants. We are probably the most tolerant country on earth regarding immigration and the giving of refuge to asylum seekers etc. However it is obvious that many of these people though happy to leave there own country for whatever reason and come here are not as tolerant as we are and carry on in a manner that is not acceptable.

The phrase "dont bite the hand that feeds" springs to mind.

I live in the middle of one of the biggest Asian communities in the country and see first hand what tensions exist. Whitefield ward which is the next one to me is populated by over 70% ethnic minorities and I still remember the day of sept 11th 2001 when a percentage of that community were celebrating what had happened by driving around honking their horns with various national flags flapping out their windows. Is it wrong to wish such people were not resident in this country?

I live and work amongst these "minorities" and have quite a few asian friends and the majority of them are decent people that are happy and proud to be here. However events over the last few years show what damage can be done by just a few of the less integrated members of the ethnic minorities.

Not meaning to have a go at you as such but I do find it hard to keep quiet when you accuse someone of raciscm when you yourself live in York which correct me if I'm wrong is along with Bath and Norwich the highest white population city in the UK? I think its approx 98% white? Its easy to sit back and look on your pc or tv screen and pass judgement of racism on people when you yourself are far removed from these issues.

Thanks Martin, didn't think this would cause adverse reactions like you said and i'm just back from Kuwait where i've seen loads of body bags comin off aircraft. When you've been in a war zone your view on life changes and when it's on your own doorstep your feelings are stronger, anyway i thought the boys were slaggin ME off.

What a very bizarre statement to make. It's probably that kind of elitest thinking that has the DSC where it is today.

Actually your whole post does not make any sense. If you don't know what they are talking about, why post on the subject?

The point i was trying to make was that the subject matter was not suitable for a Ducati website

Apology accepted Frankie, though there was not a lot to apologise for.
Everybody's got a different opinion and if they didn't what a sad world this would be.;)

Tam I thought this was just some light hearted banter. Hope I didn't upset you as no offence was intended to you or anybody else.
