Termi End Can Removal

Hello All

Would someone be kind enough to give me a heads up on how I remove the Termi end can on a full system. I have got the springs off but cannot shift the rear section.

I need to get the rear wheel of in order to replace the tyre.

It’s just a tight push fit into the pipes at the mid section. A bit (lot) of wiggling should see it eventually come free. A few gentle taps with a hide or plastic mallet may help as well.

As the lip will take something sprayed into it try something like gt85, wd etc which should help with the wiggling and help with the taps, remember to clean it off once done

Like the guys suggested chief, give it a little spray and some light tappage, they can be a little stubborn!

leave the Y piece in place... Remove the single spring that joins the silencer to to it and just remove the can.

OK thanks everyone. Job done.

@Nelly I tried to loosen the silencer, but it just wouldn't budge. In doing this, however, the Y piece loosened and separated.
