Thanks for letting us know @Loz ... hang on a moment... your not @Loz

Not sure about Lanzarote but when I had my bar in Greece all the locals sold flavoured alcohol and put it in branded bottles.
Dangerous stuff that made people very poorly. Still goes on today I believe.
We called it bombber but not sure how it was spelt.
A bottle of smirnoff here in lanzarote is ten euro in any supermarket so it's all name brand 👌and I'm known for putting questionable substances into my body 😆😆

The potato chip/crisp was invented in 1853 by George Crum.

Crum was a black American chef at the Moon Lake Lodge resort in Saratoga Springs, New York, USA. French fries were popular at the restaurant, and one day a diner complained that the fries were too thick. Although Crum made a thinner batch, the customer was still unsatisfied. Crum finally made fries that were too thin to eat with a fork, hoping to annoy the extremely fussy customer.

The customer, surprisingly enough, was happy – and potato chips/crisps were invented.

Crum’s chips were originally called Saratoga Chips and potato crunches. They were soon packaged and sold in New England – Crum later opened his own restaurant.

William Tappendon manufactured and marketed the chips in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1895.

In the 1920s, a salesman named Herman Lay sold potato chips to the southern USA (selling the chips from the trunk of his car). In 1926, Laura Scudder (who owned a potato chip factory in Monterey Park, California) invented a wax paper potato chip bag to keep the chips fresh and crunchy.

With further technology, innovation, and a countless number of variations and flavours, potato chips/crisps have only grown in popularity over the years.

Nowadays, that wanker Gary Lineker is associated with being an ass-hole who gets paid zillions to sell Walkers Crisps

They do have a few but not widespread.

The country that has no muslim, sikh or hindu residents is Vatican City, which was given country status in 1929

That the Shadow's bass guitarist, Mark Griffiths, was not only in The Rutles with Neil Innes, but he was also a guitarist with Mathew's Southern Comfort, and had a number 1 in 1970 with this (he is playing the accoustic guitar)

I've known for several years now that Nazism and Communism are two cheeks of the same arse but today, I learned a bit more about why that is the case:
