T.I.L

Saw this, and it was a good film:

Learnt a bit more about the POS Beeline, As standard, the default is set to give you no notice of turns. I have now joined the band of weirdos who would quite like a bit of notice.

Secondly, trying to use it in the car is not possible. The car Bluetooth and the Beeline Bluetooth are the worst of enemies. At best the car Bluetooth will work, but the Beeline Bluetooth doesn't. At worst , like now, neither will work. I will have to try it, either on the KTM, or a cycle. I might just take it for a walk tomorrow to see if can work out directions to the end of my road!

It seems that it wasn't the car Bluetooth and the piece of sh.. Beeline that didn't get on with. The Beeline gets on with nothing!

It sat in my house all night, busy arguing with every bit of tech that I own. Anyway, deleted and re-paired on my phone in the app. As I have not yet tried to use it, all is calm:whistle:

Trains are shit!

I had to go to The Spire Hospital today. My train to Bristol Temple Meads was about 15 minutes late. Why? It is a secret, but it started at Gloucester which is one stop from me. It left Gloucester about 14 minutes late and just got later and later as we continued. So, I missed my connection to Clifton. I did ask, but apparently, because much of he line is single track, they wait for nobody. I had plenty of time for my appointment but the next train was in an hour and with the exhausting walk, no way would I have have made it, so I got a taxi from Bristol Temple Meads to the Glen Hospital, and was still early. Although my brother's brilliant idea of getting an UBER from Clifton Down Station, would have cost over £45, I just got a taxi from the queue outside Bristol Temple Meads station and that cost me about £12 including a tip! This was right through the centre of Bristol and a good three miles.

So, that's the other thing that I learned - Uber is shit! Stay away from them!

I will have to go again, because I had x-rays done on my shoulder, but this time I will either drive the whole way, or go to Bristol Temple Meads and get a taxi.

For a second time, like with the MRI scan, they could do the x-rays right away, after about twenty minutes of waiting. I seem to clear a path before me at that place!

Now, I am stilll hot and bothered, but I have beer, so all is good! Bath Ales Gem. The first bottle has gone down well, so more will be drunk!

Driving is a shit but necessary evil.

I was meant to go swimming but had to negotiate a road block, and temporary traffic lights, while a fallen leaf is retrueved.

I then got to the Sports Centre and realised that I haven't got my wallet, so I had to re-negotiate the roadworks to make sure that my wallet was still at home. Thank Christ is was!

And the car did warn me! After driving quite far away from come, I was told that communication with the phone had been lost. I just ignored it as I am up to here`, with Bluetooth shit, after that Beeline fiasco. What it should really have said was, "You have left you phone at home, you Dunderhead!" I would of understood that!

TIL that the word "lunatic" comes from an ancient theory that mental illness was caused by the astrological position of the moon at the time of an affected person's birth.

The moon does apparently affect many things including how our bodies behave. I remember reading that hospitals require more blood when operating during the full moon as patients bleed more quickly. Just google full moon blood flow or similar and you`ll see quite a lot of information.
Here is a clip from an old documentary that touches on some other side effects.
