I seem to recall one on fleabay in the States about a year ago which was either unused or hardly used.

Price was £38000 and I said then it was a bargain.

Not sure I would pay THAT much for this even if I had the money.

Problem you have with anything unused is that as soon as you use it it is worth less. If it can't be used and you are just going to look at it, just buy a Renoir or similar and look at that.

How frustrating would it be to have that sitting in your living room knowing you couldn't take it onto a track which is what it was designed for?

Few years ago was in holiday in the USA and went into an Italian restaurant near Cape Cod. Got talking to the owner who had exactly the same model of bike I had and turned out he had been a chef with the factory race team at the time of the Supermono and had been all over the world with them.

My immediate reaction, look at it, more carbon, magnesium, titanium & unobtainium than on any modern race bike.

Its breathtaking.

aye, if I had some spare money I might be tempted to offer £38k for it as that seems to be the market price, I guess he's fishing, I can't see anyone paying that for it.

My favourite bike of all time. That is truly gorgeous.
