Well, t'was nice to meet up at Hawes today despite the weather. Hopefully everyone is back and slowly thawing out 
Luckily i took the GS complete with heated grips (turned on max) and heated waistcoat (turned on max) as the ice light was flashing and road covered in hail as i made my way up Mallerstang
Afew photo from today, aplogies I didn't take as many as normal as it was freezin stood outside.

Hope you all got back home safe. Sorry i had to leave you all at Devils Bridge my mother is in hospital.

what's all this about a crash then?
Accident
Sorry to say that it was me that caused the accident
On Sunday.
I was overtaking Jane and a car in front of her
I did not overtake the car and pulled back in front
Of Jane a few seconds later I had a tap on my back
Wheel and the next thing Jane was sliding down the
Road.
Jane is ok apart from a broken ankle. She even rode all the
Way back from Hawes.
I can't even begin to tell you how bad I am feeling at the moment
Not only am I responsible for hurting a fellow biker but a friend
As well.
Spoke to Jane today and she is very cheerful and positive
And hoping to be back at work shortly.

Well here we are on the Friday after the ride. Can I please ask (nobody in particular) why there is no feedback about the events of the day, the crash or anything?

we had a ride out, met had lunch, i posted piccies, Samie thanked everyone, Grumpy explained his part in an accident. Nowt else to repor...., had you considered that might be how it was left because we chose to do so? thought not, thread closed.
