B1222 to A166 - Squires to Seaways

From Squires on the B1222 through Cawood to Stillingfleet and straight on to the A19. Left and first right at Escrick. Then right, first left into Wheldrake Lane. Joint Main Street in Wheldrake and then Left at the pub into Greengates Lane.

Join the B1228 at Elvingoton by turning right at the T junction. Sharp left at the school into Dauby Lane. Join the 1079 by turning right at the T junction.

In about half a mile left, signposted Stamford Bridge along Long Lane. Go through High Catton and straight on into Stamford Bridge. Join the A166 by turning right at the T junction and then on to Fridaythorp up Garrowby Hill.

Interesting detours through Thixendale can be taken by cutting off at the top of Garroby Hill. Can vary return through Pocklington and Melbourne. Some really nice bends either way.

EDIT - Sorry for not posting as instructed in
Important - Read Before Submitting New Road - Will know better next time!

Hi Adam, which college and what you doing?

It was the inability to stay shiny side up on ice that moved me from 2 wheels to 3!

i have to go from york to Carnaby college, im studying Motorcycle Mechanics currently at Level 2 but i have just this second finished my last bit of paperwork so hopefully this thursday i will be level 3 which is fault diagnosis and electrikery :-(

not really a job though, i see it as a means to not having a propper job, must say though the perks are absolutely second to none ;-)
