Spain on a Hypermotard

Been home about a day now and still a bit @@@@ed :o

Didn't take many pictures, but did take some on bike video

There's some fantastic roads over there

The Hyper, even with it's 12.5 litre fuel tank, made a great traveling companion.

Temperatures ran to about 36'c, coupled with an 80 mile range - it encouraged you to use fuel stops as an opportunity to take on water.

On the motorways, that tiny Ducati Performance screen does make 90+mph cruising easy.

Garmin Zumo - thank you! Especially for the "Avoid highways, toll roads, unpaved roads" option

Picture and video's HERE

If you don't like the music - tough! :p It was what was on my ipod for the trip and what fitted in with the video as I broke it up into manageable chunks.

well I have clicked on everything there is to click on and nowt 'appens! I do have a bar along the bottom that moght be covering up something?

'coz I'm enlightened :D

Camera is an Aiptek sports cam that maplin was selling a wee while back - came with it's own pencil cam that I velcro'd onto the side panel, and the main camera is small enough to fit in the hypermotard handle bar bag.

Looks good, roads look like the Oban to Dalmally stretch though.. I think you're having us on. In fact, NO, you can't, I saw blue sky and sun shine...:D

Oh God he's back, that means nothing but scarcy comments all day long now.

Hey, hope you're bringing along 'MY' trailer on Friday, yer bawbag!!! :D

someone PM'd me and said "did you ask the president to come on the Glencoe run on sunday ???", so I did... and here's the reply....

Dear Mr Dash,

Thank you for your kind offer for the President to attend your motorcycle run on Sunday 27th July 2008. President Bush is otherwise engaged, or he would have been delighted to attend. He did ask if there were any oil interests in Glencoe, and would be in touch soon.

Regards
The West Wing

Maybe explains the amount of roadworks on Glencoe at the moment.
