Not sure what it is worth, seriously thinking about letting her go, tracked a couple of times 10k+ miles serviced as per book. Spare swinging arm, panels, well lots of spares really.

Its a 2003 749 Bip with White wheels, not yet dropped though running a Corse slipper clutch ( Awesome) big Termi's big noise etc

Don't know what I want, if interested drop me an offer and we can talk about it :)

Ian, my post says seriously thinking about it, yes I am serious its been on the cards for a while now, lets see eh, anyway whats it worth ?

bit of a change from nearly going racing with it,you sure you want to do that ?

Not 100% sure of anything matey, method in my madness though spoke to Davie today and he knows the score, I have a load of money tied up in a bike that sits in the garage for the most time, I don't like riding it on the road anymore so whats the point in having it, its not like I can go out and look at it in the garage as it is half a mile away !

hey I've read this with interest and all I can say Ian is good luck with whatever you decided to do Mate!

sorry to hear that Ian but before you pack in all together why not go test ride summit sensible like a 620 multi? you'd have way more fun on that on the back roads round here and could still use it for getting to stuff like Oulton or out taking photos. Me and Linzi went out tonight round the lanes me on multi her on the ickle GS ,went up towards the Solway Firth, rode right along the coast had a great night out and hardly saw a car perfect biking but if had been on SBK's it wouldn't have been fun.. Getting a bike you can use more might be the solution.

Michaels pretty much said what I was going to. Like to add you can pick a Multistrada up for easily less than £4000 (03 or maybe even 04 1000) I know they are an ugly @@@@@@@ but are great fun and you do have the choice of pottering along the back lanes in comfort or going mad and harrassing sports bike riders. I do understand the appeal of an Elise or similar as I have very nearly sold the bikes in the middle of winter to get a Caterham as Ive always wanted one and I have 3 mates with them to go out with. I love cars too but as things stand I wouldnt get rid of the old Multi even though its looking a bit used to say the least.

If you can then sell the 749 and the van and get the Elise an a Multi. Best of both worlds!

Yep Mike has summed it up, it was exactly what I was talking to Davie about yesterday, anyway any idea what mine is worth ?

Ian - try asking Martin or Charlie at Ducati Glasgow/Leeds - hopefully they can give you an idea of the current market value.

Parkers book it at between £4,800 and £5,800 depending on condition/mileage. Whether you'll get that is another matter as MCN is full of bikes for sale this week ...

If it gets returned to standard for a sale. I'd probably be intrested taking the termi off your hands as my current exhaust has just bust.

Tricky.
