So the 800's are here

Freak

Is it still summer?
Anyone see the first days highlights on Eurosport, the Ducati's sound like 500cc strokers (kind of) when they're on the gas, nice burble deep sound on the overrun though, totally different sound to last years bikes.

And not quite a Ducati man but Tony Elias how far does he hang off that RCV212!!

Live on Eurosport right now.

Colin Edwards' bike is fitted with an angle of lean meter - just recorded 71'

Hi All

Shame he's an Aussie (Casey Stoner No 27), however at least he rides a Ducati. Lets hope that this is a consistant performance throughout the year and the crashes are kept to a minimum...!!!!

when he moved from Aus he then lived in Penrith and did the UK 125 series, so he nows rides a Ducati and has lived "upnorth" I should send him an honorary forum membership :)

Stoner did well in the second warm up

Both him and Edwards lapping in low 56's consistently ( on race rubber) in final qualifying, looking good for tomorrow.

Hi Gizmo

Go on then I dare you to send Stoner an honoury membership to this site and while your at it see if he's free on the 18th for the Hartside ride out?? ....

LOL rolling around on the floor....

Don't the bikes look amazing, I love the close up views showing all the exquisite components, the finish and functionality of it all. I don't like the rear end of the RCV212 though, the tale unit looks too short for the bike.
Mr Vemeulen gets his elbows down like Jean-Philippe Ruggia used to back in the early '90s on his Yamaha 250!!

...I did that once.....

...just before I low-sided at Redgate back in '94:eek:
