Singles - again!

Remember we had a long and, frankly, circular debate about Ducati bringing a single out again? I was just reading up about the Moto 3 bikes and noticed that there's loads of people on various forums all raving about the bikes and hoping that the manufacturers will bring them out as road bikes.

Maybe if Ducati got into Moto 3 they would have a bit more success in that class...and I'd buy one! :D

Just a stab in the dark but I reckon what people say they'll buy on forums vs what actually happens are very different things...

Otherwise, you single lovers would all be riding around on these:

Single cylinder, 4 stroke, plenty fast enough (top speed 80mph), and light as a feather.

Available for a mere £4,200 ;)

...and not a Ducati. ;) :)

I'd buy a 250/350 single race rep like a shot if a European company did one in the meantime the 900ss fits the bill about 85bhp and light as a feather.

Well, you could always just pretend :D

What's more important, being a single or being a Ducati? I know you guys love a project... so I've prepared plan B:

If you can have it ready by Lanark, I'll buy you each a pint :)

And how do you think the factory made the Supermono? ;)

It was a bit more high tech than a saw though...

they used a grinder. :D

Big enough and quick enough for and seems fairly comfortable but the styling isn't my thing.
Packaged differently it would almost tick all the boxes. (non-Italian is a big pill to swallow)
