Single tyre manufacturer in Moto GP ??

....It has been officially confirmed that Dani Pedrosa will make a shock switch from Michelin to Bridgestone tyres with immediate effect - splitting the Repsol Honda Team in two for the five remaining rounds of the 2008 season.....

It was quite obvious from what was said on Eurosport today that the Repsol Honda team was already "split in two" Nicky Hayden made that quite clear with his "it's not a team, team" and the comment attributed to Mick Doohan "there's nothing wrong with Pedrosa just those around him"

So just who is stirring the waters ? Don't you just hope that Michelin come up with something extra special in the next couple of weeks in time for Indianapolis

"I want what he's got wah! wah!"  ....and screw the contract I signed.:jerkoff:

On another topic did everyone hear the Jules' description of Marco Melandri sitting next Nicky H' at the riders briefing and putting his red Ducati cap on Haydens head:lol2:

Michelin have let him test the competition so he knows how good their tyres are now IMO

Pedrosa may well have tested, but in a very private test. They are also very likely to have been studying data, talking to Nakano, who was given a full factory machine a couple of GP's ago, running on?....Bridgestones', and his Bridgestone engineers.

The fact that Pedrosa also walked out of the Brno test, after a couple of hours, probably says more about his head than his injuries....and that he couldn't be bothered testng on Michelins'

I read yesterday that its now official about Pedrosa. I think it's a sad day when they have one tyre next year. Remember Goodyear in GP? Dunlop, they seem to have the monopoly in 250s, noone ever mentions that by the way.

there was a lot of discussion about this on Euroadverts and the consensus of opinion that it will stop development, reduce the amount of free tyres for testing and for the races and that Bridgestone will start charging a lot of money for the 'extra' tyres the teams will need
