well I made it back safely :)

Excellent turnout and was good to put some faces to names and meet with a few others from my murky past.

I thought it was very generous to have the free bar and all the Ducati freebies as well :laugh: I bet those that didn't go are kicking themselves now :rolleyes:

Only took 3 hours 200 miles door to door :eek: Both sat navs told me to turn right at this junction even though there was a sign to the M74 / Carlisle turn left :confused: I followed the satnav :) Didn't pass any speed cameras, though I was ALERTed to 50mph specs on the M74 but they were long gone, I'll have to update it.
 
Glad to hear you got home safe and sound Steve, it was GREAT to see you today and hear how you're getting on.

Aside from that, it was a great day indeed and fantastic to see such a great turnout :thumbs:

Hope everyone had a good time, and look forward to seeing as many next weekend at our monthly meet!
 
Great meet today, Good run up in sunshine:lol2: and cake as well, Even more names to faces:cool: Was having a good run back down until a coffin dodger cut me up at one o the roundabouts in polo mint city:mad:close call but stayed onboard:eek:
Well done Steve you should get a trophy for long distance and good to meet you at last:cool:

Roll on next week, Think Jill mentioned free drink:rolleyes:You never know might just have a dram and book in somewhere and come back Monday the long way round:D

Sorry for not making it but I'm up to my eyes in wallpaper!!! the hotel opens on the 28th March and I've got LOADS to do.

Glad to see so many made it.

Sorry I was unable to make it due to working until 8pm by which time I was knackered after a 12.5 hr shift. Would have been a good day. Should make the monthly meet on Sunday. :)

Where did you post the pics Mary.............I cannot find them..:dunno:...but they are sure to be somewhere!? :rolleyes:
 
great day and a good turnout too.... Steve it was fab to catch up properly and I can only agree that the new look suits you much better ;)

It's going to be a cracking year :flash:
 
greaqt to hear you all had a good time - unfortunately my reason of unattendanc eis frighteningly similar to peter's - i was up to my eyeballs in hardwood flooring so wasn't allowed out to play... :(
 
Steve it was great to finally meet up with you mate, and also great to catch up with you guys, :thumbs: (sorry for the late post,traffic you know :rolleyes:):D
