Just a wee note guys.

Wanted to say thanks to everyone that we saw today - thanks to you all for making this years show the best we've every attended.

It's always good to see those familiar faces - it's even better when seeing them at Ingliston all together at the same time, signalling to true start of the bike season up here in Scotland!

Here's hoping we all get see a lot more of us all together this years on the various rideouts and socials that we're going to have.

Even me Joolee agree's with me ....... for once ;)

Scottish bike show

Anybody got a set of snow chains or ski's.
First show in ages i've been able to get to and there's a foot and a half a snow ootside the door.:hissy:
Hope it all went well yest, was up 4 a few bargins as well.
hope to catch some of you on a run inthe neer future.

Before anyone braves the weather, ive just checked via the booking line and its been cancelled today.

I hope you all got some good bargains yesterday

I'll second that Scott, it was a good show and good to see everyone albeit briefly - roll on the MMMMM.

The old man and me mate had a good time aswell, they still might get something Italian. The MV's are gorgeous Martin.

Got a few bargains at the show - bagster tank bag half price and the bike's now going to get defendalled-up since the deal was to good to miss (1 and a half bikes for the price of 1 more or less).

Scott, talking of a good start to the season, I ended up back in Linlithgow and getting on the bike to bring back to glasgow. I'll start a new thread in in the Virtual Bar and explain all and hopefully stave off the cold with a virtual toddy.

gutted

raging about the waether today, was up at 7.30 to get there too. i told drew we should ahve went on saturday, oh well glad everyone got some bargains, i'll just have to keep my cash for some new purchases later on. really wanted a new pair of boots though. hopefully get to meet you all soon.
 
Good to meet up with everyone at the Ducati stand on Saturday. Sorry, BDG, I missed your call - I had gone to my flat in Edinburgh after the show and I fell asleep after I put my feet up. If you'd made it to the Grassmarket you'd have found plenty of decent pubs at least.

Hopefully, the weather will be completely different next Sunday for MMMMM. I managed to (probably) write off the car in a whiteout on the way back down to the borders today after an oncoming car bumped me off the road - fortunately a glancer rather than a head-on collision, but caused a bit of a tailback for a while. Missed the first half of the rugby too..

Thanks chaps. Fortunately no damage to yours truly but I've taken a few precautionary medicinal swallies just to be on the safe side...

That's the second time I've been taken out on a bend by another car who was not driving to the conditions. Now if only all car drivers were bikers....

Sorry to hear about your incident Dave, i had a head on collision a few years back by an old man not driving to the conditions on a bend, swerved across onto my side of the road :( not nice. . . thank goodness he was driving a renault clio.

Sorry i missed you all yesterday, my time on the SuperMoto's ran over a bit, was having such a laugh on them. Managed to speak to Scott, Martin, Alistair & Shaun. Everyone was in good spirits. Roll on MMMMM, see you at the start line :thumbs:

Glad I went to the show on the Saturday there would have been no chance of getting there yesterday. The bad news is they are forecasting more snow for next weekend. :(
