In the north east in Northumberland (north of Newcastle).

Wouldn't normally go that way to Scotland from Cumbria.

ive never actually stopped in morpeth but it looks a nice place i like the look of alnwick from the road tho its a place ive never visited.
just thought id throw that in to the conversation:)
