I went to see an old work colleague last week.
He’s been admitted to a care home for a couple of weeks, £1500/week it’s cost him!
To see the poor old folk in there was heartbreaking, no way will I ever go in one of those places!
A lot of people can’t understand why I still ride bikes after my Island crash, I know which way I’d rather go!

If I had been killed in my big crash (as I know that the investigating police officer expected) I don't think that it would of been so terrible. Going home BANG - YOU'RE GONE!

Surviving as a vegetable would be worse. Although I got life changing injuries, I got my license back and should do OK out of it financially (if I live for the next God-knows-how-many-years!) but it could of been so much worse!

And if a bit of brain-damage means buying KTMs, then I am fine with that!
 
Hargreaves Lansdown, where I have quite a bit of my stash, have got in touch , this afternoon. They think that I am money laundring and have asked me to turn cartwheels for them, to prove that I am not! I have spent the evening writing emails to them telling them to fuck off, close the account. and give me my money back. If it is the proceeds of crime then they been holding on to it for years with no word of bother.

I will still have an account with A J Bell (until they pull the same shit on me) but that's me done with this shit!

I have savings with Virgin Money and Skipton Building Soc and I hope that all of the shit that they asked me to go through, when opening the accounts, will keep them off my back.

Might look into some unregulated stuff, as sticking with regulated investors, just seems to exposes me to a World of shit!
