Hi all,
it's finally here - the weekend of the wedding, as mentioned here in June.
A 916-owning member has been kind enough to offer his bike for the ride next Saturday, and assuming all the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed for the insurance arrangements, the bride is going to be giving her husband-to-be an amazing early wedding surprise.
The weather forecast is looking pretty good so far (fingers crossed), so does anyone feel like joining us for a ride-out with a difference?
The actual journey is not expected to take that long; the groom's home is way less than half an hour from the venue, and even with the whole element of surprise I can't see it taking much more than an hour.
The plan according to the best man is to meet up at around 10:30am in Hull (an easy-to-find location has been chosen near the grooms' house), with a set off time of around 11:00am to the venue.
A pillion seat has been arranged for the 916 owner, so all that's left to ask is for as many of you who would like to participate in the ride to turn up and provide some tasty Ducati eye-candy to the journey with the appropriate sound track, of course.
I'll respond with PM's with the finer details to all who can join us.
Many thanks, and I look forward to meeting you there.
