S4Rs

It’s been along month but I finally got my hands on my new S4Rs from Ducati Glasgow.
I collected it on Friday afternoon and managed to get it home between the rain showers, unfortunately due to the weather that’s all I’ve managed ( 18miles). :rain:
First impressions are good except I’ll have to adapt my right foot position due to the location of the exhaust. I’ve removed the rear foot rests and replaced the number plate with a more appropriate size and spent a few hours washing and polishing.

Steve (B&P) & I reckon it would look good with termis each side but I think you would have to put the whole S4 system on (if it would fit) if it doesnae give it a bit of.:smash:

Got to try an DUK 4RS round cadwell, BIG FUN, felt like it wanted to wheelie everywhere. I like the white pearly paint but not too sure about the white wheels.

Ray.

Very nice !. Why don't you bring it along to the runs on 17th Sept (The Teuchter's Trundle over the Cairn O'Mounth) and 29th October (Dash to the Thrash) ?.

Those nice people at DUK will have taken it home again, did any DUK bikes get dropped at the trackday Ray? ;)

Well the weather is good for tomorrow.
Think it’s time to show of the bike to my twin who stays near Oban. I’m sure you would all agree it would be rude not introduce the S4Rs to some of my favourite stretches of road whilst I'm in the area. ;)
I’ll report back tomorrow.

I have seen one with Termis on each side, apparently there is quite a weight reduction over stock as well.

So now the weather’s improved and I’ve managed to have a decent ride, how would I describe the S4Rs……….. FANTASTIC.
Using the grin factor scale it is right up there. :D
It’s definitely a very easy bike to ride fast and feed back/feel is confidence inspiring. That said I wasn’t sure if was going to miss the race rep style of bike but after my ride I’ve put all of my concerns to bed. No more sore wrists for me.:finger:
Just need to finish running in process, so I can discover what she can really do. Well I’m of to rob a bank to finance a termigoni exhaust system or I might need a good divorce lawyer if can't shake the modifying bug.

Steve,

Nope, all went back in the van in one piece after two days,

Riding the S4RS made me wonder why I bother with a sportsbike, the only thing I'd miss it for would be long distance trips once in a blue moon. The Monster isn't meant to be good for keeping the wind off ya but on a hot day thats no problem and to be honest It didn't seem to be a problem at cadwell, maybe different in the rain tho!

Ray.

You'll soon get used to the wind, although it can get tricky after 140 (On a private road of course) I have to say the Monster is the most fun bike ive ever owned, I dont miss the aching limbs that a Crouch Rocket gives you. Nakeds are the Future :D

mr C i still wouldnt go on a big run on a Naked

as someone said before " why dosnt my bike have fairings "

i promise you will ask ureself that at some point :p

Found this a few days ago and IMO I think it looks better than the two sided ones. sorry it's a bit small but I had to reduce the picture to 17% before it would down load!
