Run tomorrow, Edinburgh to Creetown and back

Ive got a wee 10 min job to do tomorrow at Creetown. Basically, unplug a box and bring it back for a software update.

Anyone wanna come with me? Leaving here about 10am ish.

I hate these early starts.......:D
 
Could be persuaded. Which way are you going ?. You could come this way, then via Dumfries, do the job and back via New Galloway.

That should get my weekely mileage up into four figures...

Duncan, fancy a blast too ?.
 
Just thought of heading down through Moffat and then nae idea after that TBH.

I'll give you a buzz DB but we are going there and back and thats it.....dont get any ideas about going via the Norfolk Broads etc!!! ;)

DB's been phoned and we are meeting at Broughton at 1030am.

Ah. The lure of the open road....the world is our oyster, gentlemen. Yesterday the Highlands. Tomorrow the wilds of Galloway. You get good ice cream in Kirkudbright, perchance a bit of lunch there. Thence to the Creetown clock (and I'm not scaling any steeples either - no insurance and I'm a feartie anyway ) and back home via Newton Stewart, New Galloway and Elvanfoot.

Anyone else for a bit of biking splendour tomorrow ?.

If we stop in Kirkudbright for lunch about mid-day for an hour (Davie takes a LOT of feeding..) then we should be at Creetown about 2pm (Borders and Galloway Standard Time). Feel free to meet us for lunch. Even better if you bring the Jota.

I would say about 1pm DB? Im on coffee and cigs during the week. :D
 
Just one final question, Davie , before I retire to my pit for the night. Are we doing the route clockwise ?
 
Great run today guys, some wicked twisty roads down in that neck of the woods. Cracking weather for it and a made a few extra bar too :D

Yep. We did the Newton Stewart to New Galloway. Nicely surfaced too. Pit stop at Clatteringshaws before the charge over to Thornhill, then Dalveen Pass then petrol stop at Abington, where we met Jill the birthday girl on her way back to Strathyre (hope you're enjoying the party this evening, Jill :cheers:).

Found out there that the Multistrudel had a leaking petrol tank, so saw my liquid assets draining away over the forecourt....Another job for the list.
