Just heard of someone in the know that Leon Haslam is off to Moto GP next year to ride with the Fortuna team along side Marco Melandri.

If its true.....you heard it here first! :cool:
 
According to MCN Melandri is off to Ducati if Fortuna don't match their offer by October 5th..... I'd like to see Melandri at Ducati alongside Loris
 
Saw JE in Costa this morning, was working so no craic, I gave him the bird, with a smile, he gave it back !

Ian by JE do you mean James Ellison?
If so tell him I hope he gets a ride for next year - I had a crack with a Dantin Ducati Mechanic in Brno and he told me some of the politics that were getting certain riders better tyres , bits etc.
It takes a lot for him to be out there not being able to keep with the others because politics dictate that Checa gets the better tyres/chassis etc.
I wish he could get a day on Rossi's bike just to prove he's quick. And he hasnt fell off as much as certain other riders.
I'll be shouting for him in Valencia.

Yep, saw James in Costa again yesterday afternoon, no word on anything, but I didn't really ask, if I'm honest, he comes home to relax and get away from work !

Rumour is that his Majesty the king has signed for Kawasaki in Moto GP and Foggy and Neil are friends again!
