i cant remember which thread it was in so ive started this one.re somebody getting stopped and held for two hours till bike was checked by mot peeps and then let go home.
I finally had a chance to talk to a friend of mine who works for them and he told me that there is no set time limit as such as to how long you can be held till they check your bike/car/lorry out but they do have a good practice code which suggests that if they cant start on the machine with in 30 mins they should be allowed to carry on their journey.
he also said that for it to be legal to only stop motorbikes,the police would have to get a local ordanance made out to that effect.
