rideout through the week

guys i went out for a wee run round the borders today tuesday and you know something, ive often missed going out at the weekend but through the week its so much better on the road. less cars, less tourists, less police (never saw one all day), in general it makes so much more sense to go out through the week, its just so much better biking.
if its as good weather next tuesday ill do the same and the tuesday after that and the tuesday after that etc etc.
 
I would love to ride out during the week but unfortunately I have to work.:(

I do take the bike to work sometimes but spend the day gazing at it in the carpark wishing I was off somewhere. :(

Hopefully we'll get out on the long hot summer evenings. :D :D

Once went to a bikers pub in Edinburgh but can't remember the name - Pear something?? :)
 
Always go on Wednesdays myself starting in April. Finish Work at 3:00pm and ride until about 8:00pm. First one tomorrow this year.Instead of the waterproof fabrics I've been wearing all winter I've got my leathers out and summer gloves. Spent all night cleaning and treating them so it's bound to rain. Going all around Waddington Fell and the Trough of Bowland tomorrow.
 
I used to go out during the week,now I have to be around for the kids every damn day!!!
And thats why the bike I bought a month ago has sat in my garage since!:mad:

Its a fairly relaxed place with all sorts of ecelectic people boozing there. Its more a studenty hang out. Im surprised they have that as a policy. I dont think its enforced about the leathers TBH.
 
Our ride last night was good and owes a lot to the fact that it's midweek. The weather helps, but the roads are generally empty. For the record we had - 1098, 848 (red), 996, 3 Aprilia Milles and an R1 out.

used to do the majority of my biking on thursdays and fridays as these were my days off and great days to get out and about on my own - unfortunately things change though :(

would love to join you Gordon but I'm a monday-friday worker now:( :( :(
 
I suppose with the nights getting longer it'll be possible to do a short run in the evenings through the week, if that's any use Gordon?

thats probably not too bad an idea that........suppose you had to have one at some point. what next davie doing joined up writing:eek:

Thought the crayons were a lot better idea myself....
