Total nonsense, no doubt Al Puig (or is that Pig) opened his mouth and everyone obeyed as usual. I reckon it was more Pedrosas fault anyway, 2p.
As said, didn't do 46 any harm and the bike was visibly better handling-wise. :thumbs:
 
The sooner Pedrosa dumps that A@@@hole the better have done 4 pit walks at Valencia and never seen a more miserable looking person and Danny seems to be right under his thumb
 
Just watched the highlights during my supper. What a load of pish. That was never a ride through. Simo was ahead & the wee guy hit his rear tyre.
If they were going to do ride throughs then Lorenzo should have had one previously for his heavy overtaking.
ITS RACING & THINGS LIKE THAT HAPPEN.Just shows the power of Team Repsol Honda on the appeals commitee.

Sorry for Pedrosa though. The wee guy did not deserve another injury.

Glad Rossi got on the podium. That bike is getting better & better. Well Rossi is getting fitter & getting to grips with the BEASTIE. Canny wait till Assen & my trip there. BRING IT ON Whooop Whoop Whoop. :)
 
The ride-through penalty seems a complete travesty to me as a spectator. If I was MS I would just have kept going and argued about it after the race.

Great result for The Ductor !

Yes but then would he not have been disqualified for failure to obey the ruling. At least he would have been able to dispute it later, with the ride through penalty once the time is lost it's lost forever.
And as others have noted, some consistency would be a good thing. It seemed to me that Lorenzo in the incident with Daviziosa was more out of order than Simoncelli, but I guess the works Honda and Yamaha teams have more clout!
 
I think danny went in a little too hot and had nowhere to go when simo was allmost past him he had to sit it up ! he was in too hot with nowhere to go.
 
...and Mr Pict next time dont put the topic in the thread title(if ye ken what I mean),I browse the forum by hitting whats new so I knew obviously someone had got a ride through before sitting down to watch it,I was hoping it was The Clown(fat chance of him getting a ride through mind you is there ?) so I was doubly p1ssed off when it wasn't :p

Le Mans

Well having just returned from Le Mans I can say that Rossi was well happy after the race, Stoner was a grumpy little Git all week end (but thats his problem) and if Marco earned himself a ride through, why didnt Stoner get a heavier penalty for thumping De Puniet ?

It was however very noticeable that the fire is back in the belly of Moto GP as over the last couple of years its been lacking a bit of atmosphere.
This year the crowds when mental when Rossi was fighting for the podium places.
Could be a very interesting year.
Camp site is still a Sh#thole though!
