Re-Build Update

Erm...now we're going backwards. The forks are coming off and being sent to K-Tech next week, for new springs, valves and a 20mm piston kit. I was going to leave this until next year, but as it's going to be repossessed soon anyways, what the hell.

Repossessed??

Niall, there are fingerprints all over your top yoke - is this part of the design!!!! ?????:D

A couple of you were asking how the project was coming along. I’ve not posted for a while because we seemed to be going backwards there for a bit...

...the forks were taken back off and sent to K-Tech, where they were re-sprung and fitted with a 20mm piston kit. They’re now back on the bike...

...then the font brake line had to be sent back to Spiegler. It was a custom build and unfortunately they got the sizes wrong. That’s going to take at least another two weeks, perhaps more before we get it back...

...originally we had the intakes polished, but after trying on the satin black ceramic coated headers, we decided the intakes would look better if they matched the headers…so off they came. They’re with Camcoat right now.

It’s not all backwards, but instead of boring you to death every single time I tighten a bolt, I thought I’d put up a web page instead...more for the UKMOC and DML really, they kinda like that sort of thing. Anyway, its not particularly detailed or technical, just some notes and pictures... http://m900.blogspot.com

I’ll post again here when something significant happens, like exhausts or a tank ;)

Cheers

Bike is looking great Niall; don't think I could match that level of perfectionism even if I had a conservatory! Look forward to seeing it in the pampered, painted, powdercoated flesh (sorry, too much alliteration).
